The photo above was taken around 1905 on the side steps of my great-great  grandmother's home.  The young woman on the left is my grandmother; the man on the right is her uncle.  My grandmother was orphaned at a young age and was raised by an older sister and her grandmother; she always had fond memories of this house and the grandmother and uncles who raised her.  Although the house is no longer in our family, I live less than a mile from it.

I've worked on the photo some, but it probably should have more cloning to remove spots.  I tried several techniques for sharpening it, and settled on the edge mask method from last week.  I used dust and scratches on it in addition to cloning.

Challenge for Wayne:

Challenge for Wayne (or anyone else): Who and what?  The photo was taken in the early 1930's, probably at Maxwell Field in Alabama.  If you can answer the challenge, I'll tell you a story behind it!
